Multiple Asamskrta Dharmas?

I'm thinking through the position of the Sarvastivada with 3 asamskrta dharmas, including two types of nirodha and space, and then the 9 of the Mahisasika (including all of their suchnesses).

Based on my limited understanding of non-conditioned, this seems to be a paradoxical position they've taken up.

If in fact there were multiple asamskrta dharmas - multiple unconditioned factors - how would anyone know?

How could one possibly be differentiated from the other?

It appears that this is another example of scholasticism rather than interpretation of the Dhamma.
