The Gender Equality in Buddhism

Regarding to Gender Equality in Buddhism,
it is important to note that Buddha goes against all forms of discriminations, including gender discrimination. In the indian history, He actually was the first religious leader who accepted the women on the path to enlightenment and acknowledged that by nature women are also able to attain the enlightenment just like men. In the case of gotame, He finally accepted and ordained her as Bikkhuni.
Some says that Buddha had a gender discrimination. He rejected the Gotami twice. Was not it because of Ananda's question (are women unale to attain the enlightenment?) then Buddha started accepting the Gotami as a Bhikkhuni?
it's true that Buddha initially rejected Gotami's request to be ordained as a Bhikkhuni, but it wasn't because of gender discrimination. Instead, it was likely due to the circumstances and timing

As recently, regarding to gender discrimination, A burmese guy asked Dr.Nandamala, the most Myanmar's Venerable monk that, 'I see so many signs written as "Women are not allowed to enter the Buddha's room but the men" isn't that Buddhism has gender discrimination?'
Ven. Dr. Nandamala clarified that such practices are not inherent to Buddhism but rather a tradition associated with specific groups of people. Buddhism itself promotes gender equality and does not support gender discrimination.
